All special event contests are limited to 50 registered persons maximum unless otherwise stated.

Special ticketed events* are separate from general admission and happen during the regular Faire Day. A specific special event admission ticket must be purchased to attend.

Salute to Safety
(All active duty-veteran-retired Military, Police, Fire, and EMS personnel are admitted free of charge with proper ID/pay stub at the box office. A valid ID must accompany a pay stub. Military IDs accepted; DD214, Veteran Status State IDs, Active Military issue.) Don't miss our ceremony before the 5:00 p.m. joust to honor our heroes and recognize their important contributions.

Saturday, September 7
Cleavage Contest and Corset Wearing Workshop

4:00 p.m.: The KRF Annual CLEAVAGE Contest on the King’s Stage (18+)
Faire ladies of the realm are invited to be daring, without baring! A series of competitions makes this celebration of the female form a hilariously fun time for participants and spectators alike. The contest allows 50 contestants max, 18+. Registration 30 minutes before at the Maypole between the King's Stage and Queen's Stage.

1:00p.m.: "Lace 'em Up" Corset Wearing Workshop
(18+) Lace 'em up lessons from some of the realm's favorite clothiers. No registration is required. Meet at the ramp of booth 51a Moresca.

Sunday, September 8 Special Ticketed Event:
September Pub Crawl #1, 21+
Take a trip through the Faire where you’ll find love for new friends… and beer! Must be 21+ with proper ID to participate. KRF reminds anyone consuming alcoholic beverages to please drink responsibly!

Fandom in the Kingdom Weekend
​
All day: Magical HP House Meetups
Join fellow Potterheads for meetups at various Faire locations - check your House listings at the Remembrance Shoppe when you arrive for details, all ages are welcome!

4:00 p.m.: HP Sorting Hat on the King’s Stage
Want to know what “House” you truly belong to? Now you can! Meet at the King's Stage for a fast-moving hat sorting for all ages! No pre-registration is required. This is a timed event, and it is possible that not everyone who shows up will be able to participate.

Costume Parade to the Tournament Field
At the conclusion of the Hat Sorting, all persons wearing Potter-themed costumes are invited to show them off in a parade to… and through the Tournament field!
WEEKEND 4: ​
All's Faire In Love and War!

Saturday, September 21
4:00 p.m.: Vow Renewal Ceremony on the King's Stage
This romantic event allows 25 couples on the stage, but you may participate from the audience as well! Registration 30 minutes before at the Maypole between the King's Stage and Queen's Stage.

Sunday, September 22
4:00 p.m.: Viking Tug O'War on the Tournament Field
Ages 18+ to compete, but spectators of all ages welcome!
Tugged back by popular demand, this contest of strength and skill (and strategy!) will decide which team is the wimp, and which is the warrior. Does your squad have what it takes?
Registration 30 minutes before @ the mural directly across from the King's Nuts booth.

Legends of Lore Weekend
Witch Dance & Lord of the Rings Fandom

Sat., September 28 Witch Dance
4:45 p.m.: Come see the originators of the dance, German Witch Troupe- Wolfshäger Hexenbrüt. Several original members will make their U.S. debut on the Tournament Field with local witch enthusiasts. Sun., September 29 Lord of the Rings Fandom
4:00 p.m.: Relay Race and Ring Toss Tournament on the Tournament Field - Costume Parade to follow.
Enter this new tourney and enjoy a lively game of speed and skill, with a "precious" costume parade to follow.
